Diadora is kicking off the celebrations for its N.9000‘s 30th anniversary with a three-way collaboration, enlisting 24 Kilates and Sabotage — a.k.a. Mark Ong — to create the N.9000 “In Vino Veritas.”

As the first in a line of upcoming collaborations and special editions that will celebrate the sneaker’s 30-year-long legacy, Diadora and its collaborators haven’t held back on this pair. It’s an ode to the parties’ home countries — Italy for Diadora and Spain for 24 Kilates, while Sabotage has been enlisted for special artistic treatments on the shoe.

The result is the N.9000 “In Vino Veritas,” a sneaker inspired by Tarragona wine from the Montsant region of Spain. Vineyards are idyllic and its regional wine is renowned, which is something Diadora wanted to channel — so it decided to make just 800 pairs of these exclusive shoes to emulate the luxury nature of the wine.

For the shoe itself, the collaborative effort sees an upper comprising Italian red velvet and a jacquard green “Sabotage” vineyard camo pattern alongside tumbled black leather on the tongue, V-like bird emblem on the mid-panel, and heel. Diadora and N.9000 branding is embossed into the velvet heels, while gold-toned 24kilates and Sabotage co-branded wings and a gold-toned lace lock appear on the tongue and vamp respectively.

Rounding out the pair are its gold-toned eyelets and aglets, as well as its white, black, and gum-toned rubber midsole. The 24 Kilates x Sabotage x Diadora N.9000 “In Vino Veritas” is set to release on November 14 at the 24 Kilates Bangkok store, online at 24 Kilates, and on Sabotage’s webshop.

In other news, the OAMC x adidas Originals Type-O6 has been unveiled.
