Brain Dead’s Energy Absorber Zoccolo is equipped with a chunky Vibram outsole that’s adorned with nodules, grooves and tread that’s sure to keep you steady on the ground no matter what terrain you’re trying to tackle. Elsewhere, the clog sports a mixed-material upper comprising crepe on the quarter panel, reinforced rubber on the toe cap, and an elasticated grosgrain band for the heel strap to keep your foot securely in place.
The strap is attached to the upper with the help of large silver-toned metal hoops and a chunky stud on each side, while the studded theme is continued around the perimeter of the hand-made wooden midsole. Lastly, Brain Dead has fun with its namesake logo by adding a foot to the head, and then embosses this new logo onto a leather patch on the footbed.
The Brain Dead Energy Absorber Zoccolo clog in black can be seen above and purchased on the Brain Dead website now. The pair retails for £170 GBP (approx. $224 USD).
