Busta Rhymes‘ new album Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God is officially on the way, and the legendary rapper enlisted comedian Chris Rock to make the special announcement.

Appearing in a one-minute trailer, Rock can be seen singing/screaming over a haunting piano background, addressing Busta’s competitors and telling them they “can’t f*ck with the God, Busta Rhymes” and even throwing in some ad-libs like “Do you understand?” and “Retire, m*therfuckers!”

ELE2 marks the Brooklyn rapper’s first solo album in eight years and follows 2012’s Year of the Dragon. Between the two projects, Busta made several TV and film appearances including Master of None and Fresh Off the Boat.

Watch Chris Rock’s hilarious announcement above and stay tuned for more info on ELE2.

Elsewhere in music, Barack Obama added J. Cole, OutKast and more for his Summer 2020 playlist.
