Converse has been playing with fire as of late, dropping the Chuck 70 Hi “Glitter Shine” and now the Chuck Taylor All Star “Black/Glow In the Dark/Royal Pulse.”

In true Converse style, this pair is made from black canvas and features many archetypical design cues such as the white rubber toe cap, a white midsole with a black running stripe, and a large All Star logo on the medial side.

Most notably, Converse has added “Glow In the Dark/Royal Pulse” flames to the Chuck Taylor All Star. These flames encompass the shoe’s front and taper off towards the rear-quarter of the mid-panel, appearing in green with a blue outline. A similar green color can be found lining the shoes inside.

Rounding out the Converse is a set of black laces that are threaded through silver-toned metal eyelets, a set of gum outsoles, and a license plate on the rear.

In other news, Notre and Vault by Vans have come together once more on the Old Skool LX.
