Following its collaboration with OLD PARK, archive fashion name EMPTY R _ _ M has come together with HYSTERIC GLAMOUR for an upcoming collection. Digging into the Japanese imprint’s iconic archive, designer Nobuhiko Kitamura‘s signature styles have been reimagined under EMPTY R _ _ M’s direction.

To preview the collaborative collection, EMPTY R _ _ M prepared lookbooks that represent HYSTERIC GLAMOUR’s contemporary popularity and Japanese cult fashion roots. Most notably Japanese rapper MONY HORSE of YENTOWN fronts the introduction to the leather and wool letterman jacket style decorated with chenille appliqués. Coming in two colorways, the outerwear comes marked with collegiate lettering and a HYSTERIC GLAMOUR vicious teddy bear motif.

Accompanying items include the matching Firebear Hoodie, macabre multi-color mandala-inspired Mandara Hoodie and T-shirts, and the risqué ’80s illustrated pin-up Woman T-shirt. Rounding up the special range are Bootcut Hagi Denim Pants defined by a bandage strap construction, available in black and indigo washes.

Priced between ¥11,800 and ¥98,000 JPY (approximately $113 and $940 USD), the EMPTY R _ _ M x HYSTERIC GLAMOUR collection is set to release February 6-7 at a NUBIAN pop-up, with a wider online release February 13, 11 a.m JST (February 12, 9 p.m. EST).
