Travis Scott has his name on some of the most sought-after sneaker collaborations of the last two years, most recently the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 6 “Cactus Jack,” which dropped this week. An examination of his personal style shows the rapper’s affinity for Nike SBs, using his influence to help bring the silhouette back into the fold. He’s even broke out the incredibly rare and unreleased “Freddy Krueger ” Dunk Lows and sported the renowned Dunk High “Unkle” when he joined Drake and Lebron James on stage to perform “Sicko Mode” earlier this year. It’s clear that Scott has an impressive arsenal of Nike SBs, and each time he wears them, he thoughtfully builds his ‘fits from the shoe up. GOAT offers a look at some of Scott’s style choices that flex his rare collection.

Nike SB Dunk Low “Buck”

Scott brought out the Nike SB Dunk Low “Buck” for the first time in September. The classic green and white colorway carries the University of Oregon school colors in honor of Nike Founder Phil Knight and his alma mater. Scott embellished the iconic SBs with Japanese denim staple Kapital Global jeans, a Louis Vuitton monogramouflage belt designed by Takashi Murakami and a vintage Stüssy tee.

HUF x Nike SB Dunk High “Tie-Dye”

The 2004 Dunk High designed by HUF gets its roots from the San Francisco Giants with added tie-dye print on the upper. Scott put the flamboyant shoe on display over the summer, styling them with a Louis Vuitton monogramouflage duffle bag by Takashi Murakami, vintage Beastie Boys T-shirt, Astroworld hat and Dior x Chrome Hearts jeans.

Nike SB Dunk Low “What The Dunk”

Easily one of the rarest Nike SB Lows is the 2007 “What The Dunk,” which, quite literally, merges all of the hypest Dunks ever made into one shoe. Design elements from the “Pigeon” Dunk, “Buck” Dunk, “Huf” Dunk and many more merge onto one silhouette. Scott subtly touched down in the Nike SB Low Dunk “What The Dunk” in September of 2018, along with a hat from LA staple Uncle Paulie’s Deli, an Astroworld T-Shirt, Gosha Rubchinskiy belt and  Ksubi light wash denim jeans.

Nike SP Dunk Low “Chocolate”

In July 2002, Nike linked with the designers at Chocolate Skateboards to design the limited edition Nike SP Dunk Low “Chocolate.” Earlier this year, Scott was spotted in the collaborative sneaker along with minimalist Nike x Matthew Williams MMW balaclava, jacket and chest rig. He completed the look with Ralph Lauren camouflage pants.

Nike SB Dunk Low “Futura”

Famed New York graffiti artist Futura collaborated with Nike in 2003 to put his fresh take on the Dunk Low. The result was an interplay of materials and a color combination involving different shades of blue on the upper. Scott, a known fan of Futura, rocked the shoe late last year while he was in New York for the MSG stop on the Astroworld tour. To complement the stellar shoe, Scott wore a READYMADE puffer with Dior jeans and a Louis Vuitton duffle bag.
