Following up with his teaser, New York-based artist Kimou “Grotesk” Meyer has fully unveiled his POLO-inspired Stadium 1992 wooden sculpture.

Worked on in collaboration with Case Studyo, the full look reveals just how much thought went into the 48cm-tall figure. Constructed with individual blocks of wood, the collectible is a ode to the NYC Lo-Life movement, sporting a hand-painted version of Ralph Lauren POLO’s iconic 1992 Olympic popover jacket. If you look closer, a lot of details begin to pop out, as subtle traits like the brass-metal teeth, screen-printed box, and back collar elevate this figure into the realm of collectible art.

Those that copped Grotesk’s 2014 Snow Beach sculpture are sure to love this follow-up piece that’s dedicated to the iconic American label. Act fast as there are only 24 examples made (four of which are artist proofs). Those interested can head over to Case Studyo’s web store where they can purchase the signed-and-numbed Stadium 1992 sculpture.
