Dior finally releases its most anticipated men’s capsule collection that has been teased at PFW earlier this year. The collection is available online as well as select locations such as the luxury house’s recent pop-up boutique in the Meatpacking District in NYC. Artistic director Kim Jones teamed up with NY-based pop artist KAWS (which he announced via Instagram back in June) in re-imagining the iconic bee, one of the House signatures, along with the Dior imprint itself in a bubbly and in tongue-in-cheek aesthetic.

The first collection designed by Kim Jones offers a wide range of hooded bomber jackets, T-Shirts, crewnecks, trousers, and accessories. The signature bee and reinterpreted Dior logo in DIOR x KAWS pink embroidery are peppered throughout the lineup. One of the highlights of the capsule collection are the backpacks, pouches and saddles bags which placed a heavy emphasis on the hardware — the buckles were designed by Matthew Williams of ALYX.

In addition, the navy Saddle bag is a signature staple from the Dior Oblique line, reinterpreted for men for the very first time by Kim Jones in this particular Summer 2019 capsule collection. The Dior Oblique print arrives in the form B23 high top that shares the same silhouette as the B23 Tribal print.
