The studio — which is known for applying Burberry-inspired patterns to sneakers and for releasing various takes on the AF1 — has taken its customization to a new level for this upcoming pair, adding an appliquéd mix of hand-cut and sewn-on flowers all over the black Air Force 1.
Made Black’s custom sneaker combines the hard nature of a black AF1 with the softness of flowers, making for a truly unique take on one of Nike‘s most instantly-recognizable classics. The flowers predominantly decorate the medial and lateral mid-panel sections, which subsequently livens up the typically minimalistic shoe, while elements such as the tongue tag, lace dubrae, and heel tab are left as standard.
The sneakers retail for $280 USD and can be purchased via a raffle that ends on December 6 at 6 P.M. GMT (1 P.M. ET). Take a closer look at the Made Black Nike Air Force 1 “BLACK FLAWA” above, and sign up for the raffle on Made Black’s website now.
