If you know and love The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers, there’s a high chance you’re also familiar with Voltron. Spawned from the mid ’80s, the giant mech biped is formed from five separate “lions” each manned by their respective astronaut captains. As previously reported upon, the famed anime will soon be hitting the subscriber-based service Netflix, in association with Dreamworks Animation. Within the talented voice-acting cast is Bex Taylor-Klaus (Arrow), Rhys Darby (Flight of the Conchords) and Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead). And in Netflix-fashion, the show will release the first 13 episodes all at once, so ’80s/’90s kids will be able to relive their giant mech childhoods in one epic binge session on June 10.
