Warm weather is almost here and adidas wants to get us running again. So in the spirit of things, the Three Striped brand has revealed its latest pair of running shoes — the X9000L4 HEAT.DRY in “Screaming Orange/Dash Grey/Core Black.”

Following on from the X9000 line that dropped back in August 2020, this pair features a slightly revised design that sees an upper made from nylon mesh. Within the upper is adidas’ HEAT.DRY technology, which is a system put in place to wick away sweat and moisture from your feet that occurs when running in warm conditions.

The snug mesh upper is accompanied by TPU overlays that add structural support to the shoe, appearing on the toe box, eyestay and heel. Elsewhere, we find a (quite frankly huge) hybrid midsole comprising BOOST and EVA, while a computer data-informed outsole rounds out the shoe’s functionalities. Rounding out the sneaker is the bold X9000L4 branding on the medial side.

Aptly, these sneakers are dropping in Australia on its regional adidas website this weekend on March 14, at 1 p.m. GMT, and are set to cost $220 AUD (approx. $170 USD). Take a closer look at the adidas X9000L4 HEAT.DRY above.

In other news, adidas is bringing back a familiar-looking NMD R1.
