New Balance is fully loaded with running-turned-lifestyle silhouettes in their catalog, one of which is the 1400 which has just emerged in a minimally styled black and grey colorway. The variation of this 1994 model has made its release to the public not too far out from when its “Dark Evergreen” makeup arrived in the early weeks of 2021.

Grayscale in appearance, the low-top runner is anchored by its sultry suede panels that compose the side walls, all of which are drenched in a pitch black hue. From there, reflective skins are distributed to the “N” logos and heightened heels, while the NB-branded heel counter opts to go with a matte gray finish. Save for the stealthy branding that dresses up the tongue, the throat, laces and interior lining all offset with clean white complexions.

EVA midsoles are devised with white and come prepared with tonal New Balance branding and a gray TPU heel counter that supplies wearers with both cushioning and support. Underneath, you’ll find black rubber treading to bring together its under-the-radar look.

If interested in copping, you can scoop up a pair over at select retailers like Premier right now for $190 USD.

In recent memory, the New Balance KAWHI “Neo Flame” colorway was unveiled.
