Shortly after creator/director Hideaki Anno announced that composition and editing has been completed on Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time, we now have a new teaser for the fourth and final film in the Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy. Originally set to open in Japan June 27, the premiere of the highly-anticipated film was delayed due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Coming as the official release date creeps near, the latest promotional video previews the movie’s theme song performed by Utada Hikaru. The new preview shares flashes of new and old characters revealing some of the varying emotions expressed throughout the film. While scenes of action unveil the new look of EVA units and a battle between EVA Unit 13 and EVA Unit 01 featuring both the Lance of Loginus and Spear of Cassius.
