Nike has built on the release of its “Team Orange” Challenger OG by introducing an eco-friendly “Mean Green” iteration set to launch early 2021.
Crafted using at least 20% recycled waste, Nike has reimagined its retro sneaker with a vibrant green upper, alongside gray panelling on the inner wall and the tongue. The Nike Swoosh and heel tab arrives in all-black, while the fluorescent insoles and white laces offer a pleasing contrast.
Sat on a speckled Grind outsole, each sneaker is completed with traditional Nike branding on the heel panel and a branded tab on the tongue.
Expected to drop early 2021, Nike’s Challenger OG “Mean Green” will retail at $90 USD on the brand’s webstore.
In other sneaker news, Nike has given its Air Max Plus the corduroy treatment.
