In terms of design, the 327 adopts a rather laid-back colorway. However, its blue-toned upper nods to the favored color that represents the Democratic party, which combined with its green “We Need Leaders” and white “All roads lead back to the streets” branding, give the pair a rather politically-driven design. Furthermore, an Instagram post uploaded by Public School states that these are the brands’ “voting kicks.”
The same “We Need Leaders” slogan appears alongside the 327 logo on the tongue, while “WNL” has been debossed into the gray suede heel. Suede can be found on the toe and vamp, while the sides are made from the familiar nylon that has helped make the New Balance 327 a popular lightweight retro-inspired sneaker this year. Public School rounds out its pair with a green outsole and a green “N” logo on the lateral mid-panel.
So far, all we know is that the Public School x New Balance 327 is dropping sometime next week. Stay tuned to HYPEBEAST for more information as news around the sneaker’s release unfolds.
