sacai has reunited with PORTER once again for a concise bag capsule. Crafted using PORTER’s signature nylon fabrics, the capsule is enlivened by militaristic colorways, like olive, black and gray, similar to the two labels’ collaboration seen just last month.
The lineup reworks some of PORTER’s classic silhouettes with Chitose Abe‘s distinctive design sensibilities. The Helmet bag, with its structured twin-pockets and spacious construction, has been made in three different sizes: small, medium and large. Each silhouette comes with elongated handles, sleek metal hardware, compartments for bottles and tonal patch logos — the small bag has the most pronounced handles, complete with skinny shoulder straps. Finishing off the capsule is a reconstructed backpack with asymmetrical pockets. Its lower right pouch features exposed zippers, while the left one hides the opening. Other details like contrasting ripstop straps at the front flap opening and striped drawstrings round off the collaborative piece.
sacai and PORTER’s Fall/Winter 2020 bag capsule will be available on August 19 on sacai’s website, ranging from $369 – $596 USD.
