sacai‘s Spring/Summer 2021 collection is, in part, an homage to American artist Hank Willis Thomas, whose work inspires a seasonal patchwork design that appears throughout the range. In particular, it graces one of the new tote bags imagined by the Japanese brand, offered alongside smaller editions and another PORTER collaboration.
Two sizes of tote bag are on hand this season, the larger measuring approximately 15”x24”. Whether opting for the larger Hank Willis Thomas edition or the textural “Soundproof” variant, each features a bold-faced “sacai” print in white across one side as leather piping runs around the open top. Two reinforced canvas straps allow for easy grasping while an extra pocket on the inside allows for separate storage.
Shop the new season sacai bags on HBX’s site for $820 USD (Hank Willis Thomas) and $230 USD (Soundproof).
Meanwhile, sacai recently introduced its remixed UNDERCOVER 30th anniversary down jacket.
