Following the collaboration that launched in early 2020, UGG and Stampd have rejoined for an even more expansive seasonal partnership, issuing a full lineup of winter-ready footwear laden with functional detailing. Classic UGG silhouettes have been reworked with Stampd’s eye for statement patterns and technical textiles, yielding weather-fighting shoes equally ideal for winter’s worst or fireside lounging.
Another round of Tech Tasman models accompanies some new Lace-Up boot styles and a cushy Fluff Slide, all realized in versatile shades of militaristic olive, black and grey. Removable rubber guards — offered in yellow, grey, black and even camouflage — shield the already rugged shoe from slush, salt and mud, while cozy lining wraps the wearer’s feet with warmth. Cutting-edge details abound, including a waterproof Drytech membrane that further protects the Lace-Up styles and the Tech Tasman’s convertible capabilities, allowing it to go from insulating boot to house slipper. Finally, a two-way blanket offers either quilted comfort or plush fur, ideal for snuggling up with the fuzzy Slides to stave off seasonal chill.
“My second collaboration with UGG touches on my story,” said Chris Stamp, Stampd founder, in a statement. “I was born in Aspen, Colorado and have always had an affinity for the winter uniform. Our new collection features technical – multipurpose footwear, with premium materials that can be worn anywhere from fireside to the slopes.”
Beginning October 31, the collaborative UGG items go up for pre-order on Stampd’s website and at its La Brea flagship. The shoes then launch November 14 at the aforementioned outlets, UGG’s web store and physical shops.
UGG is riding a pandemic-driven high, as quarantining shoppers seeks comfortable house shoes.
