Over the years, only one putter has kept its spot in Dustin Johnson’s personal golf bag: TaylorMade‘s Itsy Bitsy Spider. To mark his victory at The Masters in Augusta National last year, the brand presents the Spider Limited Edition mallet Influneced by the pro himself.
TaylorMade Golf salutes Dustin Johnson’s major championship victory by introducing the Limited Edition Itsy Bitsy Spider putter six months preceding his record-breaking performance. The putting mallet attributes a short slant hosel, a Counter Core SuperStroke GT 1.0 grip, and two 9g weights situated in the heel and toe. The club is dressed with green accents affixed on the badge’s sole and rear side, as a nod to The Masters.
The putter has been in Dustin’s golf bag for 13 of his 24 PGA Tour wins. In his last round at The Masters, of the 12 greens, he missed in his final round, but one-putted to save par on nine of them and closed the door on the field by rolling in a combined 26 feet of putts to birdie holes 13, 14 and 15.
Those interested can pre-order the TaylorMade Dustin Johnson Itsy Bitsy Spider putter on TaylorMade’s official website for $500 USD.
