Swiss horology expert Urwerk has revisited its signature UR-100 model with a limited-edition bronze makeover.

Dubbed the UR-100 T-Rex, the latest timepiece takes on the company’s flagship model with a slight twist to its material construction, this time tapping bronze for the solid 41mm casing, intricately milled and sandblasted for a uniquely textured finish. The dial itself comes standard with the iconic array of satellites that rotate in harmony to display the time, while another indicator reveals the Earth’s rotational distance in orbit thanks to the highly-technical UR 12.02 movement, which itself carries 40 jewels and a 48-hour power reserve.

For those interested, you can learn more about Urwerk’s UR-100 T-Rex over on the company’s website.

Elsewhere in watches, Oris has launched an in-house movement via a bronze Carl Brashear tribute timepiece.
