Woolrich FW21 is a three-part collection. The first to drop is titled “Charming Versatility”, focusing on adaptability to rapidly changing weather patterns. Within the collection, the Deepsix Overshirt utilizes a water-repellent recycled nylon shell combined with light recycled down insulation that maximizes dynamic performances in a wide range of weather situations. To combat pouring rainstorms, the Arrowood 2-in-1 Field jacket offers a lightweight option that provides unmatched protection against the wind. “Charming Versatility” offers a neutral colorway including warm beiges, as well as the classic black and deep navy.
“Authentic Comfort” concentrates on reducing the weight of familiar fabrics so to improve movement during expeditions. The second part of the collection uses British Millerain Waxed Cotton to add a water-resistant feature in pieces such as the Mountain Cotton Camo Jacket. Parkas are also heavily present in this part of the collection, including the Polar Luxury Eco Wool Parka, which is dressed in premium ecological Black Sheep wool and Green Loro Piana Storm System’s technology. Silhouettes adorn a military-inspired color palette of light beiges, olives, and burnt oranges.
Lastly, “Iconic Performance” rounds out the collection with its high durability for extreme weather protection. Woolrich’s partnership with Gore-Tex is the focal point, delivering the High Tech Wool Like Parka and High Tech Quilted Long Jacket. Jackets are constructed with Gore-Tex’s Infinium technology and boast unparalleled breathability and lightweight. Ranges of blues, off-whites and grays are seen contrasting against accents of purple and olive to subtly highlight the technical fabrics in this collection.
The price and release information have yet to be available to the public. The collection is expected to launch later this year.
