U.K.-based label YMC has linked up with Yogi Footwear, following the shoe label’s recent collaboration with Hikerdelic. The capsule features two silhouettes reimagined in three different color options, complete with subtle branded details from the two British labels.
The capsule features the low-top Orson and the Chukka boot-style Archer silhouettes, both of which are constructed from leather and feature Yogi Footwear’s Heritage negative heel. Releasing in black, brown and olive, the two silhouettes also feature a rubber outsole, tonal leather laces, natural hand stitching, a co-branded veg tan footbed and, finally, a YMC swing tag.
Speaking about the collaboration, YMC Creative Director Fraser Moss explained why he wanted to work with the brand, “For me Yogi shoes channel the free spirit of the ’60s U.S. counter culture. From the streets of Haight to the hills of Laurel Canyon this would have been the choice footwear of the outsider, the flower child, the protestor so turn on, tune in, drop out.”
In other footwear news, Vans has reunited with NEEDLES for another Slip-On collaboration.
